Serving on the HBJC Board is an excellent volunteer opportunity in shaping the direction of HBJC. As we begin planning for next year and work to grow our program, we would like to share the following information.

The annual board meeting, which is open to current members of the Hollis Brookline Jr. Cavs, will be held on Monday, November 27th @ 6pm at the Hollis Brookline Middle School (HBMS) library.

Additionally, HBJC is accepting board applications until November 20th. If interested, an application can be found via the link below with further instructions in how to submit.

New Board Members who are elected in November will assume their responsibilities no later than February 1st.  The HBJC Board meets in person once per month, although the work of the Board is ongoing throughout the year as we work to plan and conduct all aspects of our programs.  Qualified applicants for roles on the Board of Directors must be existing members of the Club (i.e. existing registered parents, guardians, coaches, or other volunteers).

The following positions will be voted on November 27th.  Those marked with an asterisk (*) are positions which are currently vacant. Those with names listed next to them have incumbents who are running for re-election.

1.     President (incumbent Mark Belanger)

2.     Treasurer*

3.     Secretary*

4.     Fundraising Director (incumbent Christina Belanger)

5.     Volunteer Director (incumbent Amy Connors)

Applications can be found online at: https://www.hbjrcavs.com/volunteerapplication

If you are interested in becoming a member of the HBJC Board, have any questions, or would like to submit an application, please reach out to Mark Belanger at hbpresident@hbjrcavs.com
